Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV) is an annual event honored on March 31st celebrating transgender people, both raising awareness about the discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society.

The GLSEN Phoenix virtual GSA Kit for spring is here! Our SHINE student leaders created art pieces to inspire GSAs to discuss issues surrounding LGBTQ+ issues, safe and inclusive schools, and community. The Kit also contains an updated Spotify playlist, influencer and media recommendations, and information about upcoming GLSEN Phoenix events.
Save the Date: Breaking the Silence Dance | April 24
Every year GLSEN hosts the national Day of Silence, a student-led demonstration where LGBTQ students and allies all around the country take a vow of silence to protest the harmful effects of harassent and discrimination of LGBTQ people in schools.
To break this silence, GLSEN Phoenix is hosting a special virtual event on April 24, 2021! Organized by our Shine Students and open to students across Maricopa county, this years theme will be "Love is our Superpower." Keep an eye on our Facebook event from complete event details.
